We had a great turnout for the Arapahoe Acres neighborhood meeting at The Guild on November 14th. The Working Group and consultant, Dick Farley, presented helpful graphics and informational material on the special character of our neighborhood, its existing regulatory framework, property value perspectives, as well as pros and cons of three potential paths forward for neighborhood character preservation. Neighbors in attendance provided thoughtful input through conversations and via comment boxes set up throughout the room. There seems to be a lot of interest in having some review over modifications to homes.
Arapahoe Acres is in a unique position and there is much to learn about options for moving forward, which is why the Working Group has worked hard to research and distill the information into a manageable and understandable format. We hope all homeowners will take the time to read the materials at the link below, A survey will be sent out over the winter months seeking input regarding these different approaches to neighborhood character preservation.
